The Goal of Team Acro:

Team acro is the premiere place to find out about the game we all love, Acro!  Whether you  play in Acro Challenge, Uproar or any other various Acro Venue, this is the place to come to get the details!  Team Acro will provide a central calendar of events for all teams.  Team Acro will host a central message board for all "Team" Acro events.   

Team Acro is also here to help you get on a current team, start your own team, and give space to those existing teams already out there!  Team Acro is open to ALL teams, regardless of where you play!

Thank you to all of the volunteers, past and present, who have made Team Acro what it is today. From the programmers, web designers and graphic artists to the tournament directors, team captains, match captains and tournament supervisors- everyone helps keep our community something that we enjoy being a part of. You all contribute your enthusiasm and hard work for nothing more than a sense of pride and accomplishment, and for that you deserve the highest praise anyone can give.

  • About Team Acro's operation:

Team Acro is a website which was created many moons ago as a listing service for Acro teams. Originally developed by Hawkins the site was started free to all users and still operates that way. Contrary to certain rumors, the site is not owned or funded by any online Acro venue. No person involved with Team Acro is currently an employee of any online Acro venue, nor do they receive any payment of any kind from any sponsor to operate the site. Thanks to the continued help of various volunteers, this site remains a valuable resource for all Acro teams.  

 
  • Future of Team Acro:

Team Acro will continue to provide the best service possible for the Acro teams with the resources that we have available.  Have peace of mind though! Whatever happens, we will do our best to see the site grow and develop in the best way possible to please you all! So have patience and let's continue growing.

Team Acro is a democratic organization and will continue on that path. Major decisions will be brought to the group for discussion and comment. The Team Acro administrator will consider all discussion and comment and then draft a ballot which addresses the various views of the community . The decision to adopt new group policies will be submitted to a vote amongst member teams, and as previously agreed upon by our community, adoption of new policies will be official only if approved by two-thirds of the membership.   

  • The Fine Print

This is the small print section... here we tell you that all Team Acro decisions to add or remove a team are at the discretion of the Team Acro administrator based on the actions of a team or its leaders in regard to the rules and requirements set forth by the site and all Acro teams. Team Acro has no current affiliation with ANY online Acro gaming venues and operates as a singular entity unto its own. Any complaints, questions, hate mail, love letters, cash, etc. may be sent to Team Acro at TeamAcro@hotmail.com. This site aims to please and serve in any way it can and will review any suggestions or comments that are sent to it. Any Email received by Team Acro will become the property of Team Acro.  

Note: all of the above are subject to the direct ruling of Team Acro.

  • Team Acro Services

Team Acro provides many services to the Acro teams. The table below lists some of these services. In all cases, even outside of these functions please ask and we will try to accommodate you.  

  • Team Acro Tournaments.
  • An up to date list of the current teams playing and their website address, Email address, Captain's ICQ number, and type of team(Clean or Adult). 
  • A permanent home for the "Guidelines for Team Play" which all Team Acro teams accept and develop together.
  • A moderated Message Board which is dedicated to the free discussion of Acro topics for team play. -
  • A contact and representative to each Acro venue online on behalf of all Acro teams. Whether the issue be more clan rooms, kick functions, or other team needs.
  • Recorder of Acro team history and events which shape team play.
  • TA maintains an archive of the history of the game and of team play from the days of Hawkins forward, to be used as a reference or for a walk down memory lane.
